Opening Night Gala Dinner

Celebrate with us opening night for Carmen or Don Giovanni at McIntyre Hall with a special catered theme dinner. The proceeds for dinner help support Pacific Northwest Opera. Tickets are $75 each.  Dinner includes salad, main course, dessert and wine.  Menu will be posted below as we get closer to the show.

Amahl and the Night Visitors

By Gian Carlo Menotti Performed at McIntyre Hall Amahl and the Night Visitors is an honored Christmas tradition that remains one of the most frequently performed operas of the 20th century. Menotti was inspired by his fond memories of the Three Kings as the legendary source of Christmas gifts during his childhood in Italy. Amahl is a poor crippled shepherd boy living with his widowed mother. The Three Kings, who are following a star to Bethlehem, stop at their humble dwelling for shelter. The heart-warming outcome of their chance meeting demonstrates how kindness and charity can work miracles. The opera is sung in its original English December 16th, Friday at 7:30 pm

Don Giovanni

By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, sung in Italian with English supertitles Performed at McIntyre Hall Widely regarded as one of the greatest opera ever composed, Mozart's glorious Don Giovanni is a retelling of the legend of Don Juan, the famous womanizer who refuses one last chance to repent of his philandering ways. Human and supernatural forces combine to exact a terrible punishment. The opera is sung in Italian with English supertitles.
